Who would be your choice and why ??
Who would you hire and why?. I think the best answer is posted by someone with a quote from Charles Swindoll:

One more argument for you: in software development universe any skill has high probability to be OBSOLETE in next 6-12 months. Attitude can survive for much longer and if you add to it problem solving abilities, than skillset has much less role in hiring process.
